Restoration Services Expert >

At Anderson Contracting, our credo is we care about doing the job right because we make customers for life. Since 1982, we have been serving Long Island with the expert home improvements our customers expect.  We have full service capabilities and can remodel one room, do a dramatic home makeover, or restore your home to its original condition after damage was caused by fire or water.

Just as location adds to a home’s value, so too does the condition of your house and the amenities it features. Whether out of necessity or by choice, there are always things that can be repaired, enhanced, expanded, or completely remodeled. Modernize the kitchen or bathroom.  Transform your bedroom into a master suite.   Add a much needed extension.  Or simply create a new space for yourself where you can retreat and relax.

Today, more and more homeowners are choosing to remodel their homes -- spending over $200-billion a year -- rather than move to a new location because the benefits are significant.  See Reasons To Remodel.  In fact, many of today’s popular trends in remodeling mirror those in new house construction because potential buyers do compare a remodeled home to a new one.  The possibilities are endless and Anderson Contracting has the know-how to create just about anything you need.  See our 50 Great Remodeling Ideas

CHOOSING THE RIGHT CONTRACTOR

When a homeowner decides to remodel, selecting the right contractor is just as important as the choices they will make for the remodeling itself.  Too often homeowners will choose a contractor based on the lowest price.  While this is understandable, what is hidden is that in order to quote you a low price, the contracting company typically will use not so qualified, low level laborers who work cheap and are not licensed to do some of the services. This practice is common with the larger contractors because their high overhead structure requires them to get the job done as inexpensively as possible in order to make their profit margin.  In other instances, homeowners may choose to use a handyman who similarly is under-qualified or not properly licensed for all the work required.  Almost always, these choices will lead to problems down the road and cost substantially more money to correct them.  See MISTAKES TO AVOID.

When you entrust Anderson Contracting with your project, we always take the correct measures to do the job right with the quality, trouble-free service you expect.
